The truth of the matter is that USAC and then CART didn't want a pace car that could out run the field and win the race.

Donald is old school and does not use email or social media as far as I know. However, he is very engaging and very willing to share his knowledge. I would call the museum and ask how best get in contact with him. I looked through www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com but didn't see a "contact us" button or any email addresses. There is a phone number listed for the museum.
