Re: New Upcoming Exterior Paint Judging Changes

      Kevin,
I announced the change in my Restorer column a year ago. The paint change has been the topic in my judging school at every regional meet since last year's convention. It will be included in the Paint & Fiberglass class at the upcoming Judges Training Retreat in Dallas. I will continue to present it at the regional meets this spring; it will be part of the Paint School at this year's national convention. The new charts will be available after this year's national convention. The new judging process will be in effect immediately after the 2016 convention.

neither is 1% of the total score so if the car was correct in every other way the difference is 99.3 versus 99.7.

I submit you cant see the forest for the trees, incidentally that the forest no longer looks like an original as built at the factory production corvette.
I have to agree Roy, but speaking for myself, it is more the frustrations with inconsistent judging of the paint than the points.
