    65 power window switch ?

I'm in the process of replacing switch and got a repo switch but it has the posts for the wires to connect to. It looks like my switch is original and uses the 90 degree connectors, is this correct? I don't want to change the wire ends if I don't have to. I think GM still produces or has these switch's. Is that my better option?

Not endorsing the ad...no affiliation...but the pictures should answer your question.

So I guess mine is not original because the new one I got looks like that one. I guess i'll have to get a new harness to get the plug for the switch as I have no idea where the switch I have came from. Thank you!

Zigmont - Can you post up a pic of the 'existing' PW switch you have, I'm curious what sort of switch they used to substitute for the original.
On my 66 Coupe, some previous owner got creative with the wiring to the PW switch and apparently didn't have the press-on connector anymore. Check out the pic, they actually soldered each wire to it's post and then dropped a dollop of silicone over the, ahem, connection. Ugly but it worked.
Check out the various Corvette Parts Vendors, they sell a PW switch connector with about 10-inch lengths of wire so you should be okay.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the internals of a '65 PW switch may be similar to this video.
