Fred, That means there a open in the pink wire from the ignition switch or the ignition switch may be bad, another thing to look at is the connector its self on the back of switch they can generate heat and cause a open in the terminal., take test light to the rear of the switch and turn the key on and check for power.

You found an NOS 635 switch. That's like unoptainium. Nice find!

No, it's not a 635, which does not appear to be available.
The 650 switch is the Delco Remy switch used for service replacement beginning at some later date.
The switch I got is a 626 switch, NOS for a Chevy II. Looks the same, we will see how it fits and functions. It was cheap and looked like my 635. If it doesn't work, I'll probably find a 650, though those will be more $.

Any experience with the aftermarket switches?
Anyone repair original switches?
