Re: 1968 with F41 Suspension
Dennis------
Officially, it was not possible. However, many years ago a friend of mine bought an early 1968 original owner Corvette from an estate sale. The car was very original. The original owner had driven it occasionally for about 10 years and it had been subsequently stored in a garage until it was sold in the estate sale. This car was a 300 HP with THM-400.
I wish I had scrutinized and photographed this car in detail but, unfortunately, I did not. I recall with certainty, though, that the rear suspension had what appeared to be original F-41 shocks with 7 leaf F-41 rear spring. If I inspected the front suspension, I have no recollection of what I found. Actually, I don't think I looked at it. Very dumb of me.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1968 with F41 Suspension
The F-41 was a fairly common option, available on the following GM series: Chevy ll (176) Chevrolet (3,092) Corvair (971) Camaro (7,117) and the Corvette with the breakdown AB 92 AC 1666 for a total of 1758. The production breakdown for the other series is fairly extensive.- Top
