    66 build date

I assume this is possible, but I'm not sure so I'll ask. Is it possible for the engine DSCN1935 (2).JPGDSCN1871 (2).JPGassembly build date to be after the build date on the trim tag?

I see that the Dow-Smith body is Jan 17th (F17) and the motor assy. is Jan 18th (T0118). So the body will be shipped from Ionia MI, and the motor from Tonawanda NY.

Looks OK to me. What's the St. Louis birthday, per the VIN ?

Yes it is possible in a very specific and rare scenario but it is far from being TFP for judging purposes.

January 25th birthday. I own a AO Smith Jan. 66 425hp also that was built two days after this one but the engine assembly date is January 9th with a trim tag date Jan 19.

My '66 427/390 was a Jan 10 , AO Smith Body is Jan 20, with a vin 0f 12419, and I believe is common for cars that had to be shipped from Flint to St Louis for final assembly and match to engine.
