    C2 Washer Bag

The C2 washer bag was used on A/C cars and 65 396 cars.

I noticed that some have a tan backside and some have a dark material that looks to be impregnated with a water sealing substance (to stop it from leaking). Many folks says that both types are original.

Anyone know what was used year on year?

    The same one!

Some are getting old and looking tired!

But we judge them as they were sold from the showroom floor!

    Patina ain't included!

JR, there is a definite texture difference. Mine feels like burlap and is black and the tan one feels like smooth plastic. There must be a difference.

Here's two of my '65s; one off a Nov '64 air car; the other from a 2 Aug '65 396 car. I found the one on the right under the battery tray, lying on the outer splash shield.
