Continuing the quest for a combination of parking brake components that will allow the use of the 67 rear brakes on a 63. So far, the front linkage is still 63 until its pivot at the front of the trans crossmember. Then it gets strange. The rear linkage is a combination of 67 and 65 components. I'm using the 67 rear brake cable, with the 65-66 linkage rod from the cable to the rear of the trans crossmember, and the 65-65 bellcrank at the rear of the trans crossmember. (the last pivot piece to come later)
In order to do this I need to know what the parking brake pivot welded to the rear of the trans crossmember looks like, so I can make one to bolt on. Anyone got a close-up pic of this area of the 65-66 frame?
Thanks,
