I'd like to add a book or two to my Corvette library, with an emphasis on 1970 - 1972, any chrome bumper C3's, or C3's in general.
I have the '70-'72 Fourth Edition TIM&JG, plus the books noted below. What should I get next? Leaning toward the AIM... looseleaf or CD? NCRS and non-NCRS publications are both of interest to me, as are books in the NCRS store and outside the store. Probably looking for one book that is specific to restoration, and one book that is general interest.
These are the books I already have:
--Road to Top Flight (was free with membership, I think)
--Corvette in the Barn (gift from my wife)
--Collector's Originality Guide Corvette 1968-1983 by Tom Falconer (a favorite. no idea how a mechanic in England put this together)
--Corvette, The Legend Lives On by Automotive Quarterly (subtitle is "The Gold-Certified Cars of Bloomington: 1968-1986", and that is a good description. I think this book is somewhat hard to find. Includes a photo-essay of one convertible and one coupe from every C3 year. More of a coffee table book than a reference book, but still glad to have it.)
