    '62 Instrument Cluster Rebuild

We are restoring a nice '62. Can you folks tell me a recommended vendor that car go through the instrument cluster and rebuild/refresh it?
Also, where is the best source of a windshield for such a vehicle?
    Thanks,
    Mike

I'd check with Joe Ray parts. He has an excellent reputation and very fast turnaround.

Most good auto glass shops can order a windshield, but bear in mind it will not be the same thickness as original. This topic has been covered, search the archives. If you can't find them shoot me an e-mail with your number so we can talk.

I shot Bill Harrison an email and pictures a few weeks ago about a calibration and rework on my 62 gauges and haven't heard back from him so I am not sure if he is around right now..

We are using Corvette America as the vendor for parts for this '62. They get their glass from Auto City Glass which based on my research makes a windshield that should suffice. By the way Corvette America has a 'Top Flight' program for folks doing more serious restorations (that is they are going to spend a bunch of $ on parts.) In this case they gave us about a 14% discount and free shipping on the first larger order (in our case $9k). Not a bad deal and the discount lasts for 12 months.
