1954 dual pot question
Can the insulation on the lid be cleaned? Mine is kind of dirty, not really sure what the real finction is, just some place for grime to go I guess. Mine is off the lid and I have the original rivet that might be able to be reused (looks like a brass rivet) I have the 3 prong holders. My lids are rechromed and in trying fo figure out how to set that rivet without scratching the lid.
