        Yes, there are Cobra fakes, the good news is that Cobra fans have a Registry that has documented the cars for many years from factory paperwork and owner history. The Registry has been maintained by SAAC (Shelby American Automobile Club) If anyone is interested in one of the original Cobras, their first contact should be the Cobra Registrar.
