My 1970 350/350 4 speed is a VERY original car, bought from original owner. I got the car with a carb Rochester 7040507 code EV which is proper for a 350/350 4speed & ECS It was delivered new in Connecticut 3/16 production date
date on carb is 3529 Dec 18 1969 I don't think I have ECS, that was Calif only ? Tech manual says I should have 7040207 DA I wrote to Stan Falenski National Team Leader 70-72 and he says it is OK, installing the wrong carb was not unusual if date matches and car appears it is original carb I will not receive a deduct, BUT I don't have that in writing, just over phone- good guy by the way. Am I safe keeping the carb I have for judging?
I also have one of the telescoping antenna masts the judging guide talks about vin 6,787 THANKS
