    1967 Engine coolant expansion tank

Are these TIG or heliarc weld typical of original production for an expansion tank on a early May built 1967 327-35hp vert? It is my belief that the tank is original, but was it ever repaired?

    Thanks,
    Don

Looks very much like the one from my 67, I just took a peek at it and it looks the same. Hope this helps Jeff

My 67 327/350 tank started leaking and this is what it looked like AFTER they fixed it. Looks like that is a pretty common repair-

repair the original or put on a pretty repro ?

          Enjoy,
          Bob

The original is still good, just not correct or very pretty after almost 49 years. I'll reuse the original.
            Thanks.
