    1963 steering arm on L84

JG states aluminum plug inserted into hole furthest from spindle for power steering and J56 cars. As I read the L84 did not use this plug, am I correct? Page 136 of JG. Thanks in advance.

You are correct. There are two holes the closest to the wheel is used for power steering and with power steering the other hole is plugged. with manual steering there is no plug.

      Jerry -

That's correct, as power steering wasn't available with the L84 engine due to the length of the oil pan sump, so the aluminum plug wasn't used.
