Does 67 coupe w front clip only ( not hood) repainted eliminate a car from Bowtie/Survivor? Remainder of paint is original. Fiberglass is original. Alarm hole repaired and evidently entire clip repainted

no you have four stars to earn. exterior, interior, mechanical one and mechanical two. it might eliminate the star for exterior

The exterior has a 75% threshold IIRC. I think it would be a tough call.

The accurate answer to your question would be, Bloomington Survivor now has levels, you would certainly be able to earn. The exterior Star would be tough to earn, IMO. In order to paint the clip, emblems, trims, several parts might have also been disturbed, pushing it over the allowed percentage. This would be an item that the judges, that day, would have to make the call. A lot does depend on the "strength" of the total car.

If you are serious about attempting Bowtie judging, ensure you meet ALL the other requirements first. Get to know the judges and the NTL at a Regional meet and ask them to give you their opinion on "possibility"

Just to echo what Rick said, don't forget the car has to register for judging and receive the sign-off at a regional meet.
