66 427/425 3886101 carb, how to tell restamps?

Looking for a real 3886101 list 3247 carb. for my restoration. I am confused by all the restamps, and just realized Holley remanufactured them? Can anyone point me in the right direction for a REAL carb?

William - Not sure what you mean by 'restamps'. I always believed the only way to tell an original production carburetor was to look for the date code. If it was '3' digits, it was an original, if there were '4', it was an over the counter, but still new, carburetor. Same basic carb, only one came on the original 427s and the other was bought as a replacement. Here's a pic of the replacement #3247 carb that's currently on my neighbors 425 horse 427 66 Coupe with the '4' digit date code.
