59 Defroster vent hose

Does anyone know of a source for the defroster vent hose for a 59 other than the usual after market suppliers? Whew! $35-40 is a lot for roughly 3 feet of pipe, not including shipping charges. TIA Al

Does everyone buy the hoses from CC, Zip. etc? I tried NAPA's website, but that turned up nothing.

Al, while I don't have an answer for you, I have looked around in the past and have not found anyone else that has a suitable replacement. I will also be interested to see if someone has any other sources. Eric

For those interested as a follow up, BobT59 over on the CF site provided me with a source from NAPA. It is TW Distribution 2 1/2" X 9' for $42.99. Brand name: AirSource Part # MEI8521. Yeah, I know it's more than the vendors list their's for, but it's nearly triple the length, also. A lifetime supply or sell what you don't need to someone else in need. Hopefully, I can compare the quality of the NAPA hose next week with what's available at the vendors and report back. They also offer this hose in 2" 3" and 3 1/2" diameters. I'm outta here!! Al
