1959 Power Window Fused or NOT

Is the power window circuit fused or is it fed hot directly to the window switch. I know there is a red wire coming from the starter to the relay mounted in the engine compartment, but unsure if it is fused. I'm in the process this weekend of placing fuses on the horn, clock, cig lighter, and ignition switch, as well as a fusible link on the wire from the starter. If not fused, would it be better to use a fusible link or an in-line fuse link. Also what would be the proper size fuse to use on this circuit? Thanks all!

Al, The box on the firewall is a thermal circuit breaker, 40 Amps I believe. No fuse needed.

Thanks Barry, I knew it was a circuit breaker, but was not sure if it would work to protect the wire in the event of a short. Al

Be wary - there is battery voltage at that circuit breaker and its in a bad spot; exposed with unprotected terminals.
Many make covers to go over the circuit breaker.

Frank, thanks for that suggestion on the cover. That is why I was wondering about a fusible link wire near the starter for the extra protection or an in-line fuse between the ckt breaker and the starter connection.
