70 Driver's side wheel wheel finish and Vacuum tank bolts

What went on first? The bolts then the undercoating then the black out?

Did the undercoating, black out and then the bolts to attach the vacuum tank get assembled in that order?

I removed a couple bolts and I am still not sure.

Kinda leaning towards, bolts, undercoating, then black out in that order, knowing where the tank is located.

    Thanks,

    Bill

    Hi Bill,
Here's a picture from a low mileage very original 72.
    It's courtesy of Paul O.
3 bolts from the vapor canister bracket and 2 bolts from the bottom leg of the vacuum storage tank.
    Regards,
    Alan

      Thank you Alan!

Part of the issue with mine is there was NO undercoating on the driver's side from the factory. The picture also show just how thick the original undercoating was applied. That looks very much like my passenger side. I will apply undercoating.

Looks like they were installed after the undercoating and black out.
