    C1 Expansion Tank Repair

The small elbow at the top end of my tank is broken off and I see that Paragon offers a replacement kit for these. We're these welded from the inside prior to the halves being joined? I am trying to decide the best way to reuse this old part.

Sorry if this is an old topic but I have looked through the archives and didn't see a question directly related to this. So thanks for your help. Eric

    Eric,
I forgot you asked me about that. I apologize for not getting back to you. Those were pressed in. A weld indicates a repair.

      Thanks Mike,
That's what I needed to know. I have a very good local welder so I think I will go that way. For now I would rather have a repaired original than a perfect repop.

No need to worry about the call. I just figured that you might have been away for the holidays.
