63 ignition key switch/lock 1 hole or 2 ?

Just curious about this, as I was looking at my original owners manual printed in 62 and it shows a pic of the ignition key lock having 2 holes. ?:

Bob, There should only be one hole , I think the replacements had 2 holes.

Yes everyone says it should have one hole, but I was wondering why the owners manual which was printed in 62, shows a pic with 2 holes ??

Bob, I know that this switch was used for many years and its possible that the earlier years the switch needed the extra hole to remove the switch?? and the manuals sometimes used photos and pages from older printed versions.

56-62 used one hole from the factory.
