I am looking at purchasing a set of C5 rims, 5 spoke style, not the early wagon wheels, and I notice there appears to be 2 different styles rims from GM. On the back of the 1st set of rims the P/N and other info is stamped in a dot matrix type lettering on a single spoke and has GM stamped in as well. On the other set of rims the name SPEEDLINE SL 1114 stamped on one spoke, then on another spoke it has the P/N 9594180, and then on another spoke it has GM 18X9.5JX65 stamped in. Was the SPEEDLINE used only in the later year, 2004?

Re: C5 Rims Wheels 5 spoke
Barry, I ran into the same issue when I bent a wheel on my 99'. The problem I found was that there is a wasteland of wheel options and manufacturers from the US to Italy to China. Detroit Wheels or House of Wheels may be an option to investigate Speedlines. Sorry I am not much help. I know the frustration.- Top

As far as inscriptions on the rear of the wheels that's a fine point I can't help with.
The 9594180 was a CASTING number used for wheels for several of the C5 years. However, the finish on wheels may have differed even though the same casting number was used for the basic wheel.
What specific year are you interested in? You don't mention that. Also, what is the wheel code on your service parts identification label? It should be a 3 character code beginning with "Q".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
