Replaced the OME stereo in both my C4's with after market. Any ideas on the value of the originals? One is black face with orange numbers, other is grey face with orange numbers. Had a dealer tell me he wanted them for the "core" value. Offered $100 for both. Is this about right?? Any help appreciated.

Dave and Scott-------
I definitely agree. In any event, the radios are worth much more than $50 each, especially if they are dual play Delco-Bose Gold.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

If the dealer will sell a restored and fully functional 1992 Delco Bose Gold dual play radio (orange lettering) for $400 I'll buy one.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: C4 radio value
Joe, I will check with him. For clarity are you looking for orange letters BLACK FACE or orange letters GREY FACE? I don't recall what years were black what were grey. I am in Cincinnati.

Re: C4 radio value
Checking eBay for prices will give you an idea as to there worth. The prices range will be all over the chart. I gotten deals on eBay when I was looking for one for my 90. I got a Bose/Gold cassette tape only (which is what my RPO code called for) for $75 shipped. It was in excellent shape and was a good deal as the going price for good ones are in the range of $100 to $150.
I also picked up a CD/cassette Bose/Gold that the Cd was not working for $90 and was able to fix the CD player myself. The CD/cassette ones will usually go for $200 to $300 on average but every once in awhile you'll see one for less than $200. The main thing is to have patience as there are good deals out there to be had it just a matter of timing.
