GM #7043677 and 7043684 were first used for 1971 and were discontinued without supercession in 1981. Neither superseded or was superseded by the other. Also, neither was ever cataloged for a Corvette application. However, they did have wide application over many GM carlines, including Chevrolet.

Alan, I also have #7042801 which as you picture are said to be for 71-73 (or maybe to 75). I have them on my 73 however a friend tried to put them on his 73 and they wouldn't fit. Is it possable that his 73 has replacement needles with a larger head?
