    1967 with White Interior

How white should the seat backs be in a 1967 with white seats?

Does anyone have any personal knowledge of the accuracy of AK seat backs (in any color)?
Are the AK seat backs in white made from white plastic (I guess its a plastic) or are they black and painted/dyed white?

If AK's seat backs don't hack it, whose are the best or closest to OE?

The repro seat backs are a lot different, thicker and the grain is different. I would try to find some orginal ones. I found a set of dark green for my '66 on eBay. You may could dye them.

When being dyed white, it is a really bright white and not slightly off white.

Would there be any way to repair the original backs?

Both backs have verticle splits along the side by the hockey sticks

              Don,
There's a chance they can be repaired. I've been in the retail automobile industry for over 30 years and you would be amazed at what interior repair vendors can accomplish with broken vinyl/plastic. You might try calling a couple of the larger auto dealerships in your area and ask who they use for their interior repair work. We have used this franchise with terrific results. http://www.drvinyl.com/our-services/...lastic-repair/
