Windshield and back glass storage

I am getting ready to remove the windshield and back glass of the this '67 coupe that I am restoring. Any good ideas on storage while repairs and paint work are being done?

I stored it in the rafters of the garage attic Out of site out of mind and it's a safe place

I've used NEW padded moving blankets from U-Haul. Very cheap with dozens of other uses. Don't use old gritty ones you have laying around !
