    C2 radio side panel screws

Anyone know a source for the original type screws ? The incorrect captive-washer screws seem to be all that are sold...

    Ralph,
If you want correct screws look for originals at Carlisle. Replacements are just that replacements, not correct.

      Ralph,
I'm not near my TIM&JG but what is the birth date of your car? I seem to recall that later model '67 used the captive washer screws for the radio side panels.

Does the 67 AIM show a different pn and if so what's the ECN date?

According to the 5th edition TIM&JG for the '67 model, the radio side trim panels are "retained at the top front and rear with two chrome Phillips screws with integral washers". The picture shown in the TIM&JG are very similar to the attached pic found in the LIC website #44-12.

                Ralph,

Here's a pic of one of my radio panel screws for a 67 vin 22049 (June 29):

                RadioSidePanelscrew67 (Medium).jpg

My side panels are replacement for Vintage Air, but the screws are original. They look like the LIC photos Leif posted.

What is the VIN of your car, it must be pretty close to mine with a June 29 assembly?

Those look just like the sheet metal screws available at Lowes or Home Depot.

Mine is 21886( BUT, the date is K27 not 29 ) Yes, those screws look original. I have 2 of the originals from my car , but, others had been replaced with the common hardware type.

I don't know about 67's but I had to replace the tarnished ones on my 65 and the ones from LICS were exactly the same as my originals.
