As PGW has a number of suppliers, first determine what the DOT # is for the actual manufacturer of the glass . Once you get the DOT # do a web search for problems with that glass manufacturer. Manufacturer DOT # are required to be printed on the glass - a web search will determine the manufacturers location. Lots of glass from China and India - some much better than others.

Since PGW bought out PPG, they have their stamp put on windshields from China.
