Tung-Sol 650 parking brake alarm flasher for 56-57
My '57 has the parking brake alarm option but is missing the Tung-Sol 650 12v flasher. I'm looking at page 33 of the NCRS Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide for 1956-57 and it shows it in the diagram for the "Parking Brake Alarm & Handle".
I've read in these forums that the Tung-Sol 650 is very difficult to find. I've done some searching and found that the Tung-Sol 642 flasher is readily available from several catalogs including Chicago Corvette:
Does anyone know if the Tung-Sol 642 flasher will work in place of the 650 in my '57 to make the parking brake alarm light in the dash function as normal?
