    NCRS seminar at ProTeam.

The NCRS seminar at ProTeam last Saturday was extremely informative.
The presenters who were former GM employees were like walking history books concerning the Corvette and other GM endeavors.
Jerry Burton the writer of the book Zora gave lots of incite about The Duntovs.
Thanks to everyone involved, I look forward to next years seminar.

In the past a video was created of these sessions and posted on YouTube below are a couple of examples. Hopefully this will happen again with the one last week.

        Larry,
Below is the Schedule of subjects to be covered at the seminar, a pretty good summary.
I believe parts of the seminar were recorded and might be available on the NCRS Michigan Chapter website.
Each topic on the schedule was covered in depth, really good.
You might want to contact Werner Meier for more information.
I believe there might also be a video available online.

ProTeam Will Host Its Annual NCRS and Corvette Enthusiast Tech Seminar on November 14th, 2015 Beginning at 9:00am...
8:00am: DOORS OPEN- Welcome reception and light breakfast
9:00am: THE EVOLUTION OF A RACE CAR Presenters: Greg Fadler & John Heinrecy
Greg and John will outline the process they used as GM Development Engineers to select and develop vehicles for transformation into competitive SCCA racers. They will share the steps taken to produce successful performance products that led to the release of the Cobalt, Solstice, Saturn Ion, Camaro and Corvette race car packages. These insights will be of great value in understanding how to build a successful "grass roots" race car.
10:00am: THE NEAR DEATH OF THE C-4 CORVETTE Presenter: Russ McLean
Russ will be providing us with an insider's perspective on the Corvette vehicle development process during a most challenging period of GM's history. As the Corvette Platform Manager, he is uniquely qualified to share the unknown chapter of Corvette history when it was transformed from an unprofitable product scheduled for cancellation, into a successful and innovative car that set the stage for the fifth generation car.
11:00am: THE LIFE OF ZORA ARKUS-DUNTOV Presenter: Jerry Burton
Jerry will share insights into the personal life and unknown accomplishments of Corvette's first chief engineer as related by his wife Elfie. He will share many aspects of Zora's exciting younger years and his rise to prominence despite his disregard for upper management direction.
        12:00pm: LUNCH
1:00pm: MARK ENGINE DEVELOPMENT Presenter: Ken Kayser
Ken's program will feature excerpts from his upcoming book documenting the evolution of the Chevrolet big block engine program. He will describe the engine evolution from the efforts to refine the W series engines, the development of the Mark II, Mark IV and beyond. As the former Master Mechanic at the Tonawanda Engine Plant, he will certainly be able to confirm/negate some of the "tribal knowledge" that has been handed down as gospel
Cost: $20.00 per person - Free to anyone 45 years old or younger
        RSVP: Mike Treece at mltreece@yahoo.com
