    Anyone ever heard of a dual plate clutch option on a L-71 in 1969?

      Absolutely. It was RPO MA-6. It was available optionally ONLY for 1969 Corvette with L-71 and 4 speed transmission. However, a similar clutch was also used as standard equipment for all 1971 Corvette with LS-6 and 4 speed transmission.

          GM Corvette Production records show 75 units were produced with the MA6 option in 1969. A recheck shows this as the number of units produced through August. Since 69 Corvette production was extended through December '69 the final number of 102 in the NCRS Spec Guide would be correct.

              Well I hear that one is going to be put up for sale soon in my town. L-71, M-22, transistor ignition, factory side pipes. White/ Black interior.

              Might be interested in getting a price on it to go with my 67, L-79 coupe.
