trying to have the correct head markings on my motor,reviewed JM and for intake says M or FP...are they non indented and no shoulder...oil pan bolts what are correct head markings...thanks

"M" and "FP" are common big block intake manifold bolt headmarkings. These were non-trimmed (i.e. "indented") head bolts and they were flanged (i.e. "washer") head. The original bolts for your application were probably black phosphate-finished. However, it does not matter in your case since the bolts are going to be painted, anyway.
Oil pan bolts were non-trimmed head. "E" or "EL" are common headmarkings.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
