Bruce,
One thing you will notice living in North Carolina and your car being a coupe...it will be significantly cooler in the cabin of your car in the hot, humid summer months with a side exhaust system. And, I don't get the comments that they're too loud...mine are perfectly acceptable decibel wise. I can carry on a conversation and if I want to hear the radio, I just turn it up a little louder and that's only if the windows are down. With the windows up, the A/C on, the radio is at normal levels. As I stated earlier, your only two real concerns are future NCRS judging and sale down the road. Crank it up!!!!

I would say do not remove tabs. They are impossible to replace when needed. Don't forget there are many ground strap holes that will have threads in them that will have to be drilled out to remove the tell tail threads, Unless no radio at time of purchase. when they are drilled out the holes will be to big. I love pipes just put them on and take the hit. Don't forget the rocker brackets and the splash shield rubbers as well make sure no staple holes. Probably more.

agree on loud, great when I was under 30, now not so much. I have used ear plugs for extended drive in the past. original pipes with low miles on them very tolerable but after thousands of miles they tend to get much louder in my experience.
