    Good points.

        Re: 67/435

I have taken 5 cars thru the NCRS system to Duntov and have experienced good and bad judging.
I have attained my master judge classification so I have been on both sides. I purchased a real
67/435 coupe 3 years ago. The car still has its original fiberglass components, its born with drivetrain
including its engine, transmission and differential as well as other engine, interior, chassis, components.
it also has 5 pieces of original GM issued paperwork.
In the process of campaigning the car, its originality has never been questioned by any judge at any level.
the process is fair and if owners follow instructions and read both the assembly manuals and the NCRS judging manual and guide
they should be able to understand the mindset of the judges and the process. Most important, they will have knowledge.
These cars do exist and I am proud to own one.

Michael, I believe we think alike. I myself also have a 1967 L71 that has been Al Grenning confirmed for the engine pad and POP. I most likely will never show it as that is also not my thing.

According to his profile information, Jack Alexander, the original poster, has not checked in since he created this post at 11AM on Oct 11.

This seems unusual to me. I sent Jack a email via this site, which I have no recollection of when I did as the system doesn't CC it back to the sender. IIRC it was a few days after the post began.

I know it's not unusual for posters not to check in for a while, but has anyone heard from Jack or know if he's okay? I'm a bit concerned for a fellow Member of ours who has appeared to have gone MIA. I'm a bit worried something has happened. His profile states he's in Florida. Does anyone know him personally and ask if he's alright?

My concern is based solely on human interest and has absolutely nothing to do with the technical issues discussed since this thread exploded into a off topic sidelined menagerie over 2 weeks ago. (deliberate absence of ANY smiley icons)

              I agree with Jaime.
