Directional Wire Protector

I am attempting to install new directional wire protector. What is the secret to get the wire into the protector without splitting protector or damaging wires.

I replaced my column and at that time did the protector, so are you trying to do with column installed?

No I have the column out but getting harness in the protector isn't the easiest thing I have done, not that anything is on a C2. The harness is seven wires and getting it in the protector is a task. I will get it done but I was hoping there was a method to the process.

Walter,
Take a photo of the connector and wire positions. Remove the wires from the plastic connector housing. The connector prongs can be released from housing with a jewelers screw driver. Slide wires thru protector and re install plastic connector following your photo for correct wire position.
