My Corvette restoration expert suggest you contact Rick Miller in Utah. He has done some and indicates he needs to see them first before deciding. His contact info here:

I have never seen a restoration of these covers that is TFP. The black paint applied by the original vendor is very thin and whatever they used as a mask leaves no hard edge lines. I have not seen restored covers that look like this.
