1970 Replacement Turn Signal Switch Wiring Inconsistancy

I have a Lectric Limited replacement turn signal switch, when matching wire harness with original, the last two wires are pink and black, the last two wires on replacement are tan and light green. Lectric Limited tech service explained the the changed the colors only and the circuit is the horn key warning switch. Problem they could not tell me how the colors matched up, Black to Tan or Green and/or Pink to Tan or Green. Would appreciate any help re this question.

If the device on the turn signal switch end of the wires is a switch (horn Key switch), then electrically it doesn't matter which wire connects to which wire.....it is just a contact closure.
