1969 Correct Water Pump Hose Fitting

I am doing a frame off restoration on a 1969 convertible with a 350/350 without AC. I have attached a picture of 2 fittings and would like to know which fitting is correct. The water pump that came on the car was a replacement 608 but without the correct date. The fitting on the right is what came on the replacement water pump. Is it correct for this car? Thanks for any help. Steve

The one on the left is correct for your application. This is the fitting that my 1969 300/350 was originally equipped with. These nipples were installed at St. Louis and there should have been no difference between 300/350, L-46, or other engines (except for C-60 applications). It is possible, though, that the one on the right was used alternately. Both are equally functional.
