65 tail light socket to housing ground

I removed my 65 tail light sockets from the housings years ago to have them rechromed . I now need to reattach them , what is the best way to make sure there is a ground between the socket and the chromed housing ?

The ground from the socket will be via the wiring harness ground wire if I remember correctly.

Yes James the wire grounds to the housing mounting stud but the socket needs to have a good ground to the housing .

That's it for the ground. If you desire to add one I would run a wire from socket to stud. Pretty sure you can hide it behind glass so judge will not see.
