To all the guys of the 60's era!

Yogi Berra passed away yesterday at the age of 90! He was a living legend in the baseball era of my time! Bigger than life on the Yankees Team and accomplished more as a catcher than anyone can ever imagine.
He also left us with several memories and catch phrases we will never forget.
Rest In Peace Mr. Berra!

Yes, a Yankee fan all my life. Yogi Berra also seemed like just a wonderful & kind person.

As the years pass I think Yogi will be more remembered as a zanny pop-culture philosopher than a great baseball player, but he was equally great at both!

Yogi was baseballs Will Rogers. Glad I grew up in the era of the 50'S & 60' & got to watch all of the hall of fame players in the day

Joe, A few years ago when we mapped the route for the Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend Fuel Economy Run we found a road on the east side of Eureka Springs that really does fork. The forks are about 30 foot long each and they both end at the same road in Carrol County maybe 50 feet apart. So obviously we had to use the Yogi ism in our directions for the competitors. It made everybody grin by remembering all those great sayings of his and that they got to actually live one of them. When you come to a fork in the road, take it. Scott

I heard on a Dallas radio station this morning that a WGN Chi. reporter said Yogi Bear had passed--- He must be laughing his butt off about that one. Reporter must be young and not a baseball fan.

I will always remember YOGI ,and smile as i do,
another one of his youfmasims,His wife asked him where he would like to be buried after he passed,she said he was born in (boston ?) but played ball for N Y ,where would he like his final resting place to be? (his reply) "SUPRISE ME "
