    C2 door hinge lubrication

I am re-assembling the door hinges for my 66. New bushings (doubled) and pins. Was anything, like lubriplate, applied to the pins before the hinges were assembled?

anyone have a recommendations for a good grease to use on the pins?

The AIM also calls for lubriplate on the spring tabs, but I assume there is a better modern lubricants?

    Thanks,

    Don

Don, white grease, lubriplate, syth. grease all work. I always use a thin coat on pins and bushings.
