Because of this thread, I've been browsing eBay listings for original RC-15 caps.

Many are asking hundreds of USDs!!

Are radiator caps really that rare and valuable? I shudder to think how much the tanks they attach to are worth...

You are better off looking at the sold listings than the asking prices. Don't forget--it's the buyer who ultimately determines the value of the item, not the seller.

Joe - I dug into my parts department & found a box with the front as shown in the attached photo & on the back it reads

AC Delco Kingsbury London England
Made in England

As noted, I would not expect that cap to have come in that box.
