    Carlisle seminar- 2015

    Hi Guys
I will again be hosting a open discussion on C2-C3 diff'd, boxes, and arms on Friday at 1:00 in Building R. This is a free seminar and I encourage those who have been thinking about or in the middle of a rebuild to come and share your experiences with the group. I have been working with Jodi at Carlisle Productions and she set up a 2 hour window for me this year, the past years I always seemed to run out of time at the end to address direct questions. I will have my demo's on the table to review with you as well.
Hope to see some of you there. If you have something apart and want an opinion bring it in.

    Gary

      Hey Jack
Sure thing, I'm sure you have a ton to share! Hum, I can't help with that last problem but I have done plenty of work for physicians maybe some may be there- THAT would be a seminar I'm not involved with!

Jack, I bet Gary has a load of scrap metal from a recent mid year rear end rebuilt. Gary you may as well bring it to Carlisle, and let Jack tell a tall story about how it was never abused.

Not a bad idea, however that all is gone now. Scrap man picked 600 lbs of scrap iron and Jack's Treasure was in it.

Gary, Thanks for the invitation but I have sworn not to attend Corvette Carlisle again. With the slowdown, space rental, 2000 miles to travel, high cost of a hotel room, food and the PA revenue it has become a liability to attend. Have fun!

              Gary,

Looking forward your seminar. Enjoy Carlisle every year, its about a 2500 mile trip if I take the short route. Who knows what treasures await?

                Hi Joe
Sorry to hear that. I know things have changed the past few years there. I rarely sell anything there but still file my tax with PA. They came around 6-7 years ago asking everyone who had a spot for a tax number. I still like going though and enjoy doing the seminars with guys.

No - 2500 miles out and back from Wichita on the most direct route. This year route will be through Canada (Windsor to Lansdowne - Thousand Island Bridge) then south through NY and PA. Then back home through Bowling Green. Last year's route was 3200 miles - this year's route will be a little more. Nice yearly family trip - #18 & #19 on the "Fun Field". Third time my son's 1996 will be in the Corvette Flag.

Seriously, your effort, and the efforts of folks like you, makes this the best Corvette event!

Thanks Dave. Sounds like a heck of trip. I don't have it too bad, 5-6 hours for me to make it to Carlisle. My son and I have been going for years now.

                        Gary,

Yeah, I miss going since I had attended from the 70's when it was Spring and Fall Carlisle. Some PA attorney's contacted me last year and wanted me to report for the previous year. After telling them that I haven't attended for two years and have asked PA to revoke my PA tax number they hung up. I guess that was my thank you for attending all those years and paying tax to PA. PA has a great group to welcome visitors.
Good luck and I hope you sell everything you take. Wish I could be there for the seminar.
