My shop recommendation for having you parts re-plated in NY

Rather than replace my original dust brake shields I decided to clean them and see if re-plating was worth the elbow grease. I was very impressed with the owners of Mid-Hudson Platers in City of Poughkeepsie NY. (845) 471-5090. I had my parts back next day all nice and shinny for $30. They do lots of plating for government contracts. They do many types of plating including Silver Cadmium (which is what I had done). When I was there there were many nuts and bolts from a Cadillac restoration on dipping racks so they cater to the car guys. They will also show you the process too if you are interested. Just thought I'd share.

I will add these guys to my Vendor list and give them a shot on my next resto.
