61-62 water pump top fitting

Which one is correct? I'm not able to access the bowtie cars to look right now. Both of these came out of 609 water pumps. Has there or is there any distinction between early and late cars? Nothing in the JG. The taller one looks correct to me. Any idea which is correct, and/or from what the other might be?

I hope this doesn't come to late to be of use. My very late production 62 bowtie matches the larger fitting.

By eye I would agree with the taller one. I will be able to check some Bowtie car photos later this morning.

Here are two photos, the first is a 1961 and the second is a 1962. Both cars are 4 star Bowtie cars.
