1984 TBI Fuel Pressure Regulator

Has anyone disassembled the fuel pressure regulator on the Throttle Body Injector on an 1984 Corvette? All the shop manuals I have say "Do Not Remove these 4 screws" that attach the cover of this fuel pressure regulator.

Tom, They are spring loaded, And its a strong enough spring that you will never be able to re assy. Is there a fuel pressure problem?

I already have mine apart and the spring is not as scary as the manuals would have you believe. The manuals say they are calibrated and plugged at the factory, but you have to take them apart to replace the diaphragm inside. I took mine apart and now I do not know how to reset the fuel pressure adjustment. It looks like a trial and error method where you have to take the throttle body apart each time you make an adjustment, but I did see an aftermarket regulator that would allow adjustments without taking it apart. I just can't seem to find a supplier for this item. I am rebuilding both TBI units as part of my restoration process. Thanks for your response.
