The suffix for a '66 L79, 4 spd, a/c, but no p.s. seems to be confusing. For the purposes of determining the originality of a factory a/c system....is HT correct, or HP. Most publications as well as the judging manual indicate HT does not designate a/c, and that HP does but includes p.s. Any recent determination made on this?

Re: '66 L79 with a/c, 4 spd, no p.s. suffix
Thanks for the reply...guess there was no special suffix for L79 with a/c but no p.s.....pretty odd, this car has power brakes, a/c, but no factory p.s...strange way to order a car...the Mustangs are even stranger with so many color combinations and options.- Top

Re: '66 L79 with a/c, 4 spd, no p.s. suffix
My 67 Judging Guide (5th Edition) page 102 states HT is L79 "Without A/C & PS. Or - with either A/C or P/S." The HP is for L79 with A/C and P/S. So I would interpret that as meaning the HT suffix can be L79 with A/C or with P/S but not both, or without both! The suffix for a '66 L79, 4 spd, a/c, but no p.s. seems to be confusing.
