Edward wins the prize. While I had the carb off getting it back right, I replaced the intake manifold gaskets for the correct ones and never torqued the bolts back. Feel like a dumbass. Tightened the bolts and no more smoke. Sorry for the wild goose chase, but thanks again for all the suggestions. One more gremlin gone.

How did GM say to fix the oil seeping up by the 3 center intake bolts? I've found that the high temp super black silicone works pretty well.
