In March of last year, for some reason you concluded the engine is a restamp. Has your opinion changed?
It looks like this car has been for sale a long time.Mark Edmondson

At least that's optional. I wonder if they offer nitrogen gas for the tires and paint sealant?Mark Edmondson

Re: I think I asked before, but can't fond it, Opinions Please
The flowery description I could do without.
Tilt the hood forward to find an impressive centerpiece – the legendary L89 427hp/435ci big block. The foundation is a rare 3916321 casting number block with an A11 (January 11th) casting date. The assembly stamp decodes as T (Tonawanda) 0508 (May 8thh) IU (L89/4spd) while a partial VIN confirms the block’s authenticity. The piece is topped by aluminum heads and an aluminum intake with a trio of Holley two-barrel carburetors. While the horsepower gains were marginal over the L71, the weight savings went a long way towards creating a better balanced driving experience.
I think I'm going to barf!

Pull up their website...ALL their ads are written like that. Someone is real proud of their vocabulary. They probably enjoy listening to themselves talk, as well. Yawn!!!!!Leif

I remember why I walked away from this car. Kevin MacKay looked at the pad and said it was a restamp. Additionally the car is unrestored and is a #3 at best and the awards are 15 years old. Too much money for particularly for a 1968. My 1967 documented L71 coupe has it all over this car.- Top

Not much of an early C3 expert but for some reason this one Ebay looks to me to have really good bones. Rough around the edges and the price is high don't get me wrong. Does it looks like the real deal? Unmolested California big blocks are getting pretty hard to find these days. Granted it's just a 400HP with A/C, nice color though.

Nice honest description too, and the chassis pics are not fancy, nor is the description. But I agree, good bones and appears to have a good amount of original stuff there. At that price, lots of room to make a nice Top Flight car of her.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
